OHIO & PENNSYLVANIA VIRTUAL THERAPY

stop ignoring your needs. Build confidence.

I help adults who feel anxious, insecure and bad due to faith deconstruction and purity culture.

My clients struggle just like you. Despite being caring, thoughtful and full of integrity, life is hard.

When they first come in, they feel lost in how to move forward, sexual shame due to purity culture and disconnected from people who used to matter most. They no longer have the comfort of the God they once did, feel unsure of themselves and are afraid of where this path of deconstruction could lead them.

They have lost their previous community and don’t know how to find a new one. They are struggling with boundaries and feel anxious in their relationships. Their parents have shamed them or they have kept their journey a secret and don’t know how to talk about it.

They have made sexual decisions that leave them feeling shameful because of purity culture’s teachings. They feel like a middle schooler as they try to figure out new relationships, identity and beliefs. Anything related to their previous faith context is upsetting.

Their fear of what others think of them gets in the way of the life they want in so many ways. They are not the kind of person they want to be. They feel like they are bringing their family down and a burden. And their confidence is tanking.

Before they came to see me, they felt sad and scared and alone. Other people seem to have things figured out, why don’t they? They feel like they can’t be themselves and take care of their needs. They feel insecure in their relationships. Their change in beliefs feels like a loss they can never get over.

Like my clients, you deserve to find confidence in yourself and decisions around your beliefs.

Feeling secure and comfortable with yourself is not out of your reach.

If you want to celebrate who you are becoming, I’d love to help you get there.

Get in touch with me, you don’t have to do this alone.
